Default packets of splenda vs. box

So I made the peanut butter cups today and I only had Splenda in the packets, so I emptied them into 1/3 of a cup and must have used about 45 of them. The peanut butter cups are great but soooo sweet, how many packets of splenda equals the same amt of 1/3 of a cup of the box splenda....??? I know I used WAAAAYYY to many packets, but didn't know what to do?? Thanks

I usually use about 1/3 the amount. The packets are definitely sweeter, more condensed or something. You probably could've just used about 15 packets!!

Yes, the packets are more concentrated in volume.

Each little packet is equivalent to 2 teaspoons (10mL) of the loose Splenda. So 1/3 cup would be, (hmm, brain ticking over here) about 80mL, which would translate to around 8 packets. Of course you could always add a little more if you feel it should be a little sweeter.
