Default Max Pyramid - Interesting new weights method

http://www.bodybyscience.net/home.html/?p=824

Quote:
A Max Pyramid set on the Leg Press, then, might look something like this:
1st contraction: 80 lbs x 20 seconds
2nd contraction: 90 lbs x 20 seconds
3rd contraction: 100 lbs x 20 seconds
4th contraction: 110 lbs x 20 seconds
5th contraction: 100 lbs x 20 seconds
6th contraction: 90 lbs x 20 seconds
7th contraction: 80 lbs x 20 seconds

The above apply to holding the weight static at max moment e.g. with the elbow/leg at 90 degrees.

Isometrics can work. They formed the core of the Charles Atlas muscle building system that they used to sell in comic book ads.
