Default I'm scared with my blood test results!!!

Hi everyone!

I'm on Dr. Mauro di Pasquale Anabolic Diet since January 1st.
I'm very satisfied with my nutrition and with my health.

But last saturday I did a routine blood test just to see how my health was and what I thought would be a relief turned out to make me very concerned.

My creatinine and urea are ok. They are 0,93 mg/dL and 48 mg/dL respectively.
I thought my urea would be higher so I was fine. But I got worried once I saw my total cholesterol, that reached 432 mg/dL.

That is too high.
My HDL is 69 mg/dL, LDL is 349 mg/dL, VLDL is 14 mg/dL and triglycerides are 68 mg/dL.

Do any of you know what am I doing wrong? I follow the Anabolic Diet strictly eating proteins and fats only during the week and carbs during the weekend. I don't know what I could possibly be doing wrong and I'm worried for my heath. I also have no intention of going back to my old nutrition habits, even though they never gave me any problem.

I appreciate any help.

Thank you!

Erick

Get your free T3, free T4, reverse T3, and thyroid antibodies checked.

If they come out of range try a natural thyroid like NatureThroid or Armour Thyroid.

High total cholesterol and high LDL lead me to believe your thyroid is out of whack. Check your cholesterol again in 5-6 months if you go on thyroid treatment.

Edit: Forgot to comment on this, but your triglyceride/HDL ratio is .98- suggesting you have very large, buoyant LDL, thus I wouldn't worry about heart disease.

Quite a few people here had really good luck having their thyroid treated turning around their LDL.
