I'll be cross if I go into next winter with levels below 50ng ~ 125nmol/. I want to be above 60ng ~150nmol/l on 30th Sept 2009 so by the end of Feb 2010 I don't drop below 50ng ~125nmol/l

I got my test kit, but can't bring myself to cut my own finger, so have to find someone who will do that for me. But I'm anxious to find out what my level is.
Didn't they give you a thing to puncture it with? I forget what they're called but they are usually spring loaded and very painless. I got a blood spot done for A1C from Wal-mart and it included one.
Plan: Dr Dahlqvist's
Stats: 205/152/160

Progress: 118%

The lancets are quite easy to use. You just push it firmly onto your finger tip and it pops out and it's all done.
Make you jump just a little bit. I had to use both my lancets as the first try didn't produce a big enough drop.
If anyone is interested to know how these tests are done the instructions are online here. Instructions for Blood Spot Collection the spring loaded lancet thingies are the little blue boxes that are shown sitting on the blood spot card.
