Gallery of photos from the conference with many LC advocates. Zoe Harcombe highlighted the one where she and John Schoonbee are looking up at Andreas Eenfeldt

The view from the corporate campus is to die for.

There appears to be one consensus from the meeting, from Nina Teicholz:
At the end, BMJ editor said it appears to be growing consensus that saturated fats are not bad for your health. "Closing remarks of BMJ EIC Fiona Godlee at Zurich conference: "One BIG reversal is the demonization of fat. We’ve got to recognize those reversals and have some humility." about them and "about the guidelines themselves" at 1:33 "

Richard Morris mentioned this also on the newest 2KetoDudes podcast. It followed his question from the audience.

Yes, and it's clear from this conference why it is turning so slowly. Small, incremental changes in philosophy are better than none.

Here's an appropriate blog post by Tom Naughton related to some of the issues we have here at play:

Sigh, I have a family member who is exactly like this. The vegetarians/vegans kidnapped her brain ages ago and she's incapable of learning and accepting the real truth.

Of course it doesn't help that I am fat so she will never listen to me. She is not naturally thin either, but she is one of the 5% of people who are able to constantly starve themselves and run marathons every day to stay thin, and be constantly hungry and think that it's normal. Of course, because she does indeed have this "heroic virtue" she thinks she's superior to everyone else.
