To you Houstonites:

I just went to Houston for the day a few days ago... We went to Chinatown of course, but we ate at a restaurant called "Dim Sum HK" or "HK Dim Sum", I forget which way it was written on the door. It is on Bellaire on the left as you're going from Corporate to Hwy 8 and it is in a new shopping center.

I want to tell you, that is the best Chinese food I've eaten in the USA.... We were 5 in the group and we ordered and shared about 15 items off the menu and each was better than the last one.... Do yourselves a favor and try it out... I'd think that anything ordered would be great. For what we had, it was like eating a feast. The total bill was under $65, less than $13 a person with the drinks. That blew me away as this was not run of the mill food they were serving....

Anyway, glad to read all these successes with controlling BG...

I've not been checking mine but perhaps 3 times in the last couple of weeks. I just decided to take a break from all that monitoring, but I'll probably start back soon. I'm sure my BG is fine as I watch what I eat and I've been taking my supplements...

Enjoy the lack of DP problems... It may or may not last. I had a mild case of it return, but not more than 10 or 15 point spread between night and morning... I'll probably try to get that back in control soon, just not into monitoring lately, perhaps I needed a break to feel like a normal person for a while...

Ron
