Question

Hello!

I have had type 1 diabetes for almost 10 years, so I am getting a bit worried that complications may start soon.

I think the best way to control my blood sugar is to restrict my carbo intake.

I have read some of Ralph Bernstein's Diabetes Solution and a no-carbo diet seems to have worked wonders for him.

Does anyone have any experience of Type 1 diabetes and the Atkins diet?

Thanks

Ingrid

Hi Ingrid,

My apologies, this post was "stuck" for a LONG time. Don't know how this happened!?!

Have you read Dr. Bernstein's Diabetic Solution book? He's Type 1, and pro low-carb.

Wa'il
