Default Hypothyroidism - what's the truth?

Hi everybody, I just wanted to share an interesting article with you - it explains why many people consider low-carb to be bad for thyroid and why the opposite is true. It helped me a lot (it reffers to a book by Lyle McDonald - brilliant!)

GrassFedGirl has a new article about overall thyroid issues written by a SanFran doctor. http://www.grassfedgirl.com/
I have also read the Perfect Health Diet new edition by the Jaminets, which explains their recommendations to add some "safe starches" for gut health to maintain thyroid. However, it is still a low carb Paleo diet and has worked well for me for about a year now. The thyroid symptoms I had have resolved by eating more nutrient dense vegetable carbs, and supplementing with iodine.

Yeah, the Eades and Dr. Davis have mentioned there's quite a lot of iodine deficient thyroid issues going around again these days.
