Thumbs up Melt In Your Mouth Mousse

1 cup heavy whipping cream
1 packet Splenda
1/2 tsp SteviaPlus

Flavoring:
1 Tbsp cocoa powder, unsweetened, plus 1/2 tsp vanilla, or 1 Tbsp cocoa powder, unsweetened, plus 1/4 tsp cinnamon, or 1 tsp imitation maple flavoring, or 1 Tbsp lemon juice (fresh is best), or 1 1/2 tsp vanilla (garnish with cinnamon, optional)

Pour cream into a mixing bowl and whip it with an electric mixer on high until soft peaks begin to form. Add the Splenda, SteviaPlus, and one of the flavorings. Mix until combined. Be sure that the mixing bowl and beaters are at least room temperature. If they are hot from washing, or it is a hot day, put them into the refrigerator for a few minutes to chill. The cream will turn out lighter and fluffier that way. Be careful not to overship. You don't want sweetened butter!

I'm not sure where you're getting your carb counts from, Debi, but 1 cup of cream has 6.6 carbs, 1 tablespoon of cocoa has 3 and a packet of Splenda has 1. That's not even counting the other ingredients which will probably account for another carb or two.
So the carb count per person will be at least 5.

Rosebud,
I looked the numbers up in my Calorie King book, and your calculations are right. The cookbook that I got the recipe from is obviously incorrect. Thank you for catching it. I will not be taking the information it gives as truth until I double check the numbers myself. Thanks!
