wendy, your sausage stuffing sounds delish! i think paxo is bread crumbs or cubes. very carby. you could try crushed pork rinds for the paxo in you next stuffing. i'm going to try pork rinds this week on a couple of chickens that i have in the freezer. i'll just sub the rinds for the paxo.
thanks for the recipe wendy!!

Oh my God your right Deb...just looking over the box now and ingrediants are: Bread Crumbs (duh) also it says dried onions, salt, sage amd thyme. Shoot I put all that stuff in it anyway (after the paxo)...duh...got this from a family member and never took a look at the ingredients before...Just been doing it this way for years.

Cool, this Sunday doing a turkey, I for sure will leave the paxo out and use the pork rinds...will be interesting to taste...pork rinds on the chops are great!

Thanks for bringing the paxo to my attention, I was about to go out and buy another box today...whew... who thought bread crumbs are hard and dry...hehehe...blonde moment....

Sorry to hear you had a bad duck experience!

You're right about the slim pickings. One duck will only make two servings but I find the meat soo tasty!

I think I just wasn't prepared at the amount of meat that a duck offers...oh well one must try these things!

Hey Deb, I did my sausage stuffing without the paxo and everyone missed it...they didn't care for it with the pork rinds....I kind of missed it too. It just seemed to be missing something?
