Default A Fruity Thread

Does anyone find they can occasionally (or even frequently) have fruit in their CM's without problems? Has anyone tried it? Or does it just not work at all?

Thumbs down Nope, not me

The Hellers warned that using fruit in CMs is a common error, since it seems so healthy, but is really carb-loaded. If I had it in a CM, I would consider it a breach of my program. Of course, I am in a whole other place than you, with so much more to lose. Each to their own and I know some people design a low-carb plan that is individual for themselves.

If you do decide to put in fruit... you'd probably be best to follow Atkins. There are lower-carb fruits, and ones lower on the glycemic index.

However, they don't have room in the CMs for CAD/CALP. It is strictly for RM, since having that fruit would throw off your RM (which would make the RM pointless...).
