Today is the first day of the rest of your life ..........so they say. Well I started Atkins today so I guess we shall see. Suggestions, tips, advice, and encouragement welcome! It took me 37 years to decide to make a change and I am scared but I have faith. I have enjoyed reading your comments this morning...it gives me hope that I can do this.

Welcome hippychic. It is a great program, and once you get past the 1st week or two it becomes easier. Keep your chin up and welcome to this very supportive forum.

Default Welcome

Hi there Hippychic. Welcome to a great source of inspiration and information. The Induction stage can be a little trying but just have faith that you can do it, because you can. Look at some of the "Success Stories" on the forum because they prove it can be done. I'm on the program for the second time and am working very hard to stay with it. Daily visits here keep me motivated.
You may feel a little weird on Induction but this is normal. Remember your water and vitamins too. Take care and we're all cheering for you!

Cheers,
Lara

Congratulations on taking control of your life, Hippychick. You've found a great place for information and support. You might like to take a peak at the "Low Carb Tips" at the top of the page if you haven't already done so. It's a great place to start.

Faith manages
