Default Getting Serious About Reshaping!

This morning, did 25 minutes of cardio and about 5 minutes of floor exercises (pilates). Cardio consisted of jogging in place for 10 minutes, jumping jacks for 2 minutes (I hate those things :lol, aerobics dancing for the rest. Pilates I did were 3 reps of Hundreds (knees bent) with 15 arm pumps per rep. Also did 5 Roll Ups. New for me, so that's all I could do. Will gradually increase the number I do, over time.

Okay, gotta play catchup with what I've been doing.

December 04, 2004 - did 20 minutes of cardio. Running around the living room, jumping jacks, aerobics dancing. Then did 10 minutes of floor exercises. 5 reps of crunches ~ 15 crunches each. Did side leg lifts. 5 reps at 15 lifts each, on each leg. Also did some of those Denise Austin butt lifting moves (can't think of the name) but I stood behind a chair, held on to the back of it, then lifted my leg, backwards, as high as I could and bounced my foot until it burned those glutes. lol Did about 5 reps of these on each leg, but didn't keep count of how many times I bounced my foot. Didn't do anything in the evening.

December 7, 2004 - Did about 30 minutes of cardio. Same stuff, just running around, jogging around, jumping jacks, aerobics dancing. Really worked up a good sweat this morning cause I pushed hard. Didn't do any floor work yet. Will do it this evening.

Okay, see, I'm lapsing on this thing already. lol But I am working out. Done some tweaking already. My b/f says I really need to put down these pilates and do some real sit-ups. I had done some crunches before, but now I'm really getting into the crunches, so this is what I've been doing...

After the 7th, I took a couple of days off. That evening, I did do several reps of crunches (15 crunches per rep). I think I might've done about 5 reps, but I wasn't counting. Just did it till I couldn't do anymore. Also did some leg lifts for my thighs. About 3 reps at 25 lifts a rep (really trying to do something with these thighs). I also went for a short walk with my daughter, after my workout.

Got back on track on the 9th, after two days off. In the AM, I ran in place for about 20 minutes. Got on the floor, did 3 reps of crunches at 20 each. Did 3 reps of sit-ups at 20 each. Did 2 reps of leg lifts at 25 each. Did the chair thing, for my glutes. Each leg did about 50 lifts. All in all, my morning workout was about 40 minutes. Not bad.

Bad thing is I didn't work out again until this morning, after that. BUT this morning, I ran around and danced for about 20 minutes. Did very low squats for my thighs. Did 25 of those, cause it's new, not used to it. Was all I could manage. Also did 3 reps of crunches at 20 crunches each. That's it. Might walk this evening, with my daughter, if it's not too cold.

Later for now!

WHOA! Forgot I had a gym log. Shameful! I have been working out though, just haven't recorded anything since...well, a long while. lol Anyway, might as well get back on track with this too. Will help me keep up with what I am doing.

This morning, I did some Tae Bo. Yep, that's one of the things I have incorporated into my workout regime. I do about 16 minutes of that, every other morning. I do the 8 minute workout twice. lol I also did crunches, 2 reps of 35, and leg lifts for my lower-abdominal area (biggest problem). Still can't do but 2 reps of 20 on those.

Actually, my workouts have just gotten back on track a couple weeks ago. So gonna track what I do here to help me keep on it.

Still on track with workouts. Catcup time...

Didn't work out last weekend. But did go walking on Sunday for about 25 minutes.

Monday - Aerobics for 15 minutes, 8 minute Tae Bo in morning. Weight training later in evening for 30 minutes.

Tuesday - Aerobics for 30 minutes in morning. 2 reps of 35 crunches, same # of leg lifts for lower abdomen (pilates) and 15 minutes of light weights in evening.

Today, so far - Aerobics for 15 minutes then 2 runs of 8 minute Tae Bo.
