Default It is important to get info...

but be careful of everything you read...

The end result is what works for you, using the info you get.

Some things may work for you, and not for others and others but not for you...

Just remember all carbs turn to sugar...even complex....so the amount you do eat, at one time matters. And the kind. Sugar can really mess people up.

Congratulations, you have chosen an excellent plan that balances good carbs and good fats. It is a nutritious way to eat that you can maintain for a lifetime, and you don't have to worry that you have kicked yourself out of ketosis because you had a few bites of birthday cake. Best wishes.

Great!!

I'd like to suggest that you go to the first thread in this forum called Updated Food lists and print them up ...along with the Meal Plan guides. These 2 tools will give you all the info you need ie: portion amounts and how to put your meals together.

The book gives us the old info and the updated info I brought here is from the official SBD web site.

Good luck and do ask all your questions!!
