Plan: Montignac Somersize Combo
Stats: 150/145/130 Female 5'6"
BF:
Progress: 25%
Default Montignac Newbie- Somersizing

I ordered Montignac Eat Yourself Slim and The French Diet
I am waiting for the books but was anxious to start so I started eating based on what I know so far. I may be doing it all wrong- but I am not sure.
My main questions are:
Do you really have to give up all caffeine? I know he says to- but what are your experiences.
I would like to put some Splenda or Equal on my Grapefruit but I am holding off until I am sure it is ok. Do any of you use art. sweeteners? What are your experiences with that.
What about Crystal Light and Caffeine Free Diet Coke- Can I drink these?
I am so used to these things being "free" beverages that I could use as much as I want. They are zero calorie/carb... but I am wondering if the chemicals really disrupt the metabolism.

Example of what I have been doing:
Breakfast- whole grapefruit 8:30am
Snack 12:00pm pepperoni and cheese
Lunch- 1:30pm - salad with bacon and dressing (Blue Cheese or Caesar)
Dinner 7:00pm- Piece of meat with steamed cauliflour/butter and salad
Drinking water, decaf coffee and crystal light throughout the day.

I have been using Suzanne Somers' site to guide me along- Like I will only eat fruit on an empty stomach. I am careful to wait at least three hours if switching from fruit to protein or a carb meal to a protein meal (but the only carbs I have really had is grapefruit.)

Thanks
