where in Israel are you living? I lived for two years there - end of 1999 to end of 2001. Loved it, but I started my PhD over here, so I came back. The company I worked for let loads of people go at that time as well (last I heard was that they don't exist anymore).

Living in my "own" country... if I knew where that is I should be nominated for the nobel prize!!! No seriously, I was born in Germany, lived for nearlz 9 years in the UK, then in Israel, back to Germany (where I never felt at home anyway). I am in the middle of finishing my thesis (at long last), and still am not sure where I will go back to: UK (London) or Israel (Esor TA).... Well, I will be applying for jobs in both countries, so the first good offer I get will be the place I will be going to next....

How long have you've been doing LC for? I have just started, and am sometimes not quite sure if I am doing the right thing. Well, I'll get there in the end.

Sorry, I didn't see your post to me until just now!

I live in the extreme north of Israel: Etsbah ha-Galil! Lovely countryside, but far from EVERYTHING except the katushas!

I've been doing LC now for almost two months. It's going okay! But I use only 'real' foods as I have found VERY few ready-made LC products, in fact, only some soy-milk!

I hear ye about not really knowing where your real home country is: I was homesick for Holland for YEARS! Hope you work it out to your satisfaction!
