Thumbs up Smooth Move herbal tea

I finally found something that works!! I've been taking 2 Psyllium husk caps a day and have tried every laxitive in the book with no results. My mom gave me a paket of herbal tea called Smooth Move. I was afraid to try it so it laid on the counter top of several days. I drank some last night, and ate 2 SF Reeses P-butter cups. Had great results this morning and was down 2 pounds!! (that seems like a lotta weight just in -well you know) It doesn't even taste to bad kind of like orangy licorace. It has senna in it and I had no cramping at all. This might have to be a nightly thing until my body decides to work right on it's own.

For me that stuff is deadly. Senna about kills me. It is very effective though. I think the trick is to start with a very weak dose wait a while, then slowly up it until you find the right amount (with tea that would be strength and frequency). Too much senna and it's definetly not something you will forget for a long long time.

I use to use herbal remedy but found that my body didn't want to go without it, like It became dependant on it.. Psillium husks were the only thing that worked well for me.

I'm not sure the 2 Psyllium husk capsules a day you mentioned taking was a large enough dose. The bottle I have recommends 4 caps 1-3 times a day after eating.

I couldn't afford to buy that much psyllium caps- those buggers are expensive.

Ladybelle, I've always had problems with frequent constipation, so there isn't much that bothers me, I wish my body was that sensitive to stuff, it would be nice to avoid weekly or bi-weekly lasitive or stool softner use.

I found that every time I got really strict with ATkins, I would get constipated---until I gave up the dairy. When it was just protein and veggies, I didn't have a problem.

I don't think using a stimulant like Senna is recommended for every day. Try magnesium supplements before you go to bed. Took care of my problem without stimulants!
