Tandoori Shrimp + Salad and sauce.
Tandoori Shrimp + Salad and sauce.
You can use raw chicken or lamb if preferred or for variety.
mix together the following ingredients in a small bowl and then add the raw prawn/large shrimp or whatever and leave to marinate in the fridge for an hour at least but can be left overnight.
1 cubed chicken Breast or 6 x Large king prawns. (Shrimp)
half cup of plain yogurt. (you do not eat it all its just for marinade)
quarter teaspoon of tandoori powder
quarter teaspoon of red chilli powder
half teaspoon of low cal sweetener
Juice from quarter of a lemon.
table spoon of fresh chopped coriander
pinch of salt and ground pepper.
Once its finished marinating cook on griddle or frying pan on medium to high heat to char a little and cook through fast.
served with salad and chilli dressing.
dressing:
good squirt of mayonnaise.
quarter teaspoon of onion powder.
quarter teaspoon of garlic powder
pinch of salt and pepper.
pinch of sweetener
add a touch of chilli sauce to taste.
teaspoon of white wine vinigar.
mix all the above.
