Default New here, but not to SugarBusters...

I wanted to say hello. I have been on SugarBusters for about two years now. I am severely hyperinsulinemic, and hypothyroid and have a really hard time losing weight. I have had the best success on SB. My doctor has me on Glucophage to help the insulin issues, and the past month, it seems to have finally started doing some good, as I lost ten pounds! I was pretty excited!

I came to this site looking for Molly, who used to be on Barbos. I hope the Molly on this forum is the same one! If so, Hi Molly!

This forum looks great! Lots of activity! I look forward to getting to know you all.

Hi Monet,

Glad to meet you and happy to hear SB worked for you.

Did a bit of food shopping today and it was a whole different ballgame. Going to leave it for the weekend when I can have more time to read labels.

Tomorrow is actually my first day on SB. Hope some day I'll be able to be like you and say it worked for me.

Carole

Hi Carole! I am sure you will be able to say SB worked for you! It is such a healthy plan! Just stick to lots of fresh veggies, and lean meats and limit your starchy carb servings, and you will be surprised how good you feel! Have you read the book? I got the new edition out of the library, and I am reading it now. I also read Montignac's book, Eat Yourself Slim. He is called the father of SB...his book is really good. It has a lot of details that the SB book does not.
