Unhappy "Hair" nutrition

Does anyone know of a supplement, or even shampoo, that is good for your
hair? Mine is thinning, but not coming out or anything. Also, it seems to
be getting drier and drier.

I figure my age, 50, has alot to do with the thinning hair, but maybe someone
knows of a vitamin or supplement that is good for hair?

Hey, I did a search by subject, and came up with some
suggestions myself! MSM, biotin and B vitamins. Also,
GNC brand vitamin, "Nourishair" or Ultra Nourishair.

I already take timed release B vitamins, and that was the
main thing, besides Biotin, suggested by others.

Any other info?

I've always liked Jason's Biotin shampoo for fine or thin hair, I don't think it makes anything grow faster but it seems to make my hair look and feel nicer when I use it.

Default biotin

I work in the beauty industry and have done alot of research on this topic. From my experiance Biotin has been the only supliment clinicaly proven to help hair and nails grow. Hair and nails are primarily made of keratin and Biotin helps your body produce more. Your hair will shine, thicken, and grow faster.

You should not even worry about calcium or floride I doesn't help hair or nail growth at all it won't hurt you if you take it but it worn't make your hair better.

GNC has a biotin suppliment that is really inexpensive I recomend my clients taking 1 tab of 600mg 2 times a day.

hope this helps.

I have been using samples of Iden Bee Propolis hair products for the past 3 days. Amazing stuff!!! And, it is supposed to help with thinning hair. I just ordered a supply of it as well. I have been l/c'ing for almost 2 years now and have fine blonde hair. I've recently noticed that it seems so much thinner, which is why I am using the Iden products. Can't wait for my order to come in. I'm just about out of samples.

I was losing tons of hair throughout college and a few years after- always finding lots on my pillow the next morning. I finally met a girl (eventually my wife) who recommended Nioxin to me. After I started using their shampoo, my hair loss slowed by a huge amount. Compared to 20 hairs a night, I was only getting 2 hairs a week lost.

Eventually, I lost enough to shave my head. But had I started using Nioxin earlier in life, I would still have a full head right now.
