Default Theee Bestest shake EVER!!!

Hi all... I have been experimenting lately with some smoothie ideas and I think I have found theee bestest one yet!!! Please please trust me on this one!! It may sound kinda nasty BUT!!!! IT'S AWESOME!! I have tried it a couple different ways to adjust carb counts so I will give you a couple variations.

4-5 Tbsp cream cheese (2g)
1.5 cups cold water (0g)
1/2 avocado (6.39g-4.32gFiber=2.07g Net carbs)
3 sm-med strawberries (1.47g-0.483gFiber= 0.987g Net Carbs)
1.5 tsp psyllium husk (3.39g-3.02gFiber=0.37g Net carbs)
1 scoop (35g) BioX Xtreme Power Whey Isolate (0g carbs)
3 droppers full of Stevia (0g)
6-8 ice cubes

Add first 2 ingredients to blender and blend until well encorporated. Then add the rest of the ingredients (except ice) and blend until smooth. Then add the ice and pulse until it is well broken up. Then whirl on high speed until totally smooth!! This is honestly the most satisfying shake I have ever had. It makes 3 huge glasses and is REALLY filling. If you drink all three glasses like I do then add 5.43g carbs to your counts. Or if you can only drink one glass then the carb count is only 1.81g. This shake has TONS of fiber and good for you fat!!!
I have also omitted the strawberries and it tastes just as good!!! You can use a whole avocado like I did this morning but add 2 cups of water cause it gets too thick with just the cup and a half.
This is how I made it this morning...

4-5TBsp Cream cheese
1 whole avocado
2 and 1/4 cups cold water
3 sm. strawberries
1 scoop Power Whey Isolate
1 tsp psyllium husks
3 droppers full of stevia
8 ice cubes

The count was 18g carbs-11g fiber= 7g Net carbs This made a blender full and 4 very large glasses. I can't get enough of this stuff so I drank all 4 glasses and am feeling VERRYY full!!! I like making it smooth enough to drink through a straw. Here is the % break down. I would like to raise the fat a bit but everything else is totally up to par!! 5% carbs 26% protein and 69% fat. I was thinking that if I added some flax seed oil it would bring the fat % up a bit. I still have to try that!!
Oh yeah.. this shake is very thick so adjust cold water amounts.
I really hope someone will try this recipe cause I am soo impressed with myself right now!!..lol I hate to brag but this is soo refreshing!!

I used to put avocado in my shakes too when the mood struck. My fave - besides the strawberry combo - is avocado and espresso. Avocado and chocolate is not too shabby either.

Doesn't it have an avocado taste? or does it just contribute to the texture of the shake

I had my first avacado shake while in Bali. It was fantastic and if I didnt know it was avacado, I wouldnt have known it was avacado. I just had to put my 2 cents in.

This sounds fabulous - I'm definitely going to have to try it

BTW, I presume the whey isolate isn't flavoured ?

Oh the avocado part sounds really gross. I love them plain with salt. The idea of having them in something sweet sounds weird. I think I'll have to make it, then let my kids try it first without telling them that I put it in- hehe and if they like it then I'll try it too and then tell them what was in it. They always come running down the hall whenever they hear me making a smoothie cuz they know it'll be good. Kind of like Pavlov's dog. Got a question though, does it turn green? Dunno if I can keep it a secret if the color gives it away. It's certainly no shamrock shake. hehe Annie
