2 hrs Fitball at work. We had an hour long meeting (I could sit at my desk) - so I did small bouncing the entire time...

I am switching my schedule up so I am up during the cooler hours - I am hoping to get more exercise in. It's so hot and miserable when I get home I have little energy for anything, hoping this helps.

15 min walk with female dog - training and walk around the corner in the neighborhood. She isn't used to walking so we did treat training. My arms got a work out, she is strong and stubborn, with a short attention span. Took some yard pics, there wasn't much I was able to do with the dog. Post later.

Pics! (posted July 30 - yikes!)
Pretty purple flowers on this bush in the back yard...

Tall purple spikes on this bush...

Fruit-like growths on the big cactus ...they turn red and fall off

Dainty purple and white flowers on this bush...

The neighbors in the back guy-wired this cottonwood tree in place - high winds are a danger to trees here...

I can't wait for the oranges to ripen - new crop growing fast!

Bougainvillea...so riotously prolific and colorful in the front yard...

The Tipu tree's blooms are now replaced with these big winged seed pods...

This lovely bloom that looks like a cross between a morning glory and an orchid was on one of the bushes that were double planted in the back...they double plant for fullness, I guess but they don't plant the same type of bushes together!

My favorite here...clusters of trumpet vines...

Also about 40 min dancing to Pandora and cooking/multitasking.

Made my goal this week, again, only because of Fitball.

Mon Jun 6 - 1 hr Fitball at work
Tue Jun 7 - 1 hr Fitball at work
Wed Jun 8 - 1 hr Fitball at work
Thu Jun 9 - 1 hr Fitball at work
Fri Jun 10 - 2 hrs Fitball at work

I put this on the 2 Hr Exercise Challenge post:
I am going to try to do at least 20 min a day doing something else for exercise. The Fitball is great but I need to get other exercise in. Challenging because I am very tired out and the heat is awful. But - let's see what I can do inside or out for a walk at an early early hour.

Total: 6 hours

1 hr dancing to Pandora cooking in a hot kitchen... I cooked all morning but I think an hour of dancing is accurate.

I had a big day of cooking today, too. I've never tried dancing while I do it, though. My kids think I'm crazy enough as it is. I'm not sure what they'd make of dad grooving to the batch cooking groove. It might be fun. What do I care what they think?

P.S. I'd love to see you in the kitchen. I think you'd have me smiling

Hi Ken! Ha, ya big cooking days require something that gives me energy and dance music does it...as you know it's a long day and lots of work...it's either dance music or I put on a favorite movie that I don't have to pay too much attention to. It's fun to dance - freestyle. We get a little of everything in there, from salsa style to some ballet moves to ice dance style, a little hip hop and lots of shaking it and jumping around. I try to engage the dogs too...it's fun. I'd probably wouldn't be doing this if anyone else were around though! I look pretty nutty, I'm sure :P
You should go ahead and bust a move Ken!!! Your kids would love it

1 hr Fitball at work. I made the mistake of wearing a long dress which was awkward on the ball...our new president came today so we were supposed to dress up a little more...no more dresses on the fitball...more people are sitting on them now...
