Imitation seafood only for RM.

Gravy...smidge less of something else, if it's not much, don't worry about it. Just use common sense, don't obsess.

I love CAD. But it seems like no matter what diet I try since getting down to 140, I can't lose the last 10 pds I want to. I stay on CAD because at least I can eat what I want to for dinner and not gain weight. This CAD diet rules over all the rest. Amy

Has anyone seen the rotisserie chicken inside of kroger that is already prepared? I wonder if it is ok to eat some for cm, because it doesn't have the nutrition label on it. I'm thinking it doesn't have any carbs. Does anyone know. Thanks, Amy

Amy-
I eat supermarket rotisserie chicken for cm all the time. I do remove the skin, as it has stuff on it.

Amy and Eno, I do the same, just watch the skin because of the seasonings sometimes they include sugar for flavor.

I am beginning active membership as of today. I just started the CAD on Feb 25 and am so glad to be free of the constant hunger and binging.

Doing a lot of reading and thinking seriously about joining in with you guys on CAD. I am a bit confused about CALP. What is the difference in the two?

Default Hello

CAD (Carbohydrate Addict's Diet) is the original diet book written by Dr's Richard and Rachael Heller. They later wrote an updated book, CALP (I think that stands for Carbohydrate Addicts Life Plan) which added some extra information. The essential programs are the same. CALP gave some other options, things like curbing use of sweetners, taking chromium, etc to help with the program. The Hellers have since written other books as well, but the basic program hasn't really changed.

I started CAD yesterday. Hopefully it will work for me also. If not, I'm out of here.
