whipping cream is also known as heavy cream - here where I live that is 35% milk fat content. You whip it to make whipped cream. It is useful for putting on sugar free jello (you don't have to whip it for this), and also for some sauces because it is thicker than half-and-half cream (also known as cereal cream- I think it is about 18% milk fat). And it is a must for homemade low carb ice cream!!

hope that helps
Mae

Whipping cream comes in a carton like milk, and you whip it to make whipped cream. You can find it with the milk. It's not in an aerosol spray can.

Are there any other ingredients you need clarification on?

Karen
