Good job Ladibug!
I was thinking of you when I was watching landlord cook. She took broth, rice powder and green onion. She fried sliced onion then put the broth in the skillet and it made an omelet, she put tofu and small amount green beans and carrots and folded it. It was amazing! She made about a dozen of those for the next few days. I'm not sure what she had done with the tofu it was brown and looked like meat.

How the headaches and fever fits in.......appendicitis usually runs a low grade fever, then can ramp up.

Always possible something else is going on.....he has been to UMass infectious disease specialist for work up. NADA. THis has been going on since Christmas, except for the belly pain.

Starts as belly pain, then hours later the hot forehead ( no fever via thermometer) and a headache. He lays on his bed , useless..

I only mention all this in hopes someone recognises this.

He tests negative for lymes. Which is a bit odd. He had typical bullseye as an infant and was treated. One thought is that antibiotics hit it before the body's immune system could register this disease. He alway tests negative. WHich is REALLY ODD ----if he never gets lymes then he must have immunity---and that means memory cells in the IgG and IgM group.

Yes, Im getting desperate to diagnose this.

Ms Arielle I'm so sorry for your poor little guy. I hope you get the diagnosis soon. Did they test antibodies for lyme disease? (just curious, I got to run ELISAs a few times.)

Ms. Arielle I'm sorry your son is ill and your not getting answers I pray you get answers soon. It's so hard to see our babies sick and not be able do anything.
Nawchem did the PB and olives kick the cravings? Pb isn't nice to me although I love it. But maybe that's the problem I love it too much and could eat half a jar off the spoon LOL.
I'm learning to be patient when the scale sticks and keep focused cause it will move! And I showed it moved today 😀 It might've yesterday but I couldn't weigh in yesterday.

The specialist went thru lines of results, to figure out the current level of the disease: active, not active sort of thing. She sat and studies these results and wrote notes for 5 minutes. I didnt ask her to explain the test as we had much to cover with in the appointment time.

His brother has also been having similar symptoms, but hid pedi treated him for Lymes. After meds finished, took about 2 more weeks for headaches to quit. Now he has been running a mild fever for 2 weeks. Thermometer doesnt register this. He is hot to touch, and feels lousy.

THanks for listening. HOping someone provides that one clue to dianose this. ( I personally keep coming back to Lymes.)

Thanks, nawchem! Whatever she made, it sounds good! I'm new to the Whole Foods, Plant Based thing, but am liking it and really don't miss the meat. Not sure if I'll always eat this way, but right now it's working and I am enjoying the ride.
