Hi. Just wondering if anyone has experienced nausea during the induction phase of Atkins. I've been drinking my water and eating only the allowed foods. I was low-carbing (until I became pregnant with my 3rd little blessing) and don't remember this. On a positive note, I've lost 4 pounds since I started yesterday. How can this be? I don't even think I'm in Ketosis yet. Oh well, I'm certainly not going to complain. It's a wonderful feeling, isn't it?

Sugarless, sounds like you're experiencing carb withdrawal. Are you drinking your water and taking a good multi vitamin?

And yes, losing 4 lbs in such a short time is possible, its water loss. Along with the water you're losing electrolytes, which may be making you feel poorly. Are you taking any potassium? Here's a link to everything you ever wanted to know about potassium
