Default When do you take vitamins?

Just wondering when everyone takes their vitamins, morning, CM, RM?

I haven't switched my time from Atkins so I currently take multi, C, calcium, fish oils, and green tea extract in the morning. (7am)

Then green tea extract, fish oils, pot. a half hour before my CM (11:30)

Then fish oils, pot. in the afternoon (4pm).

Then multi, and calcium with RM (6pm)

Anyone have opinions on when I should be taking what?

I usually take my vitamins right after my RM. I know the Heller's say that is the best time to take them. However when I first started CAD and was losing weight I took them in the am right after my CM and didn't have any problems, so I guess it depends on the indidual.

I take mine in the mornings with my CM breakfast. I haven't had any problems taking them at this time. I just make sure my vitamins are 100% pure and don't contain any additives, sugar etc.

Back when I had iron-deficiency anemia, I found all kinds of information - apparently taking your iron separately, or with OJ (not on this plan, unless its the RM) or vitamin C, helps uptake.

however, apparently you should not take iron the same time as you take your calcium or vitamin E, as this will block the maximum possible absorption. Ditto, don't take iron with a big glass of milk.

It made things a little more complicated, but I think I got better results.

Oh, and apparently if you are not iron-deficient, you really shouldn't take it, as it can be harmful. (unless, of course, your doc says you should for some other reason)

I currently take a multi that doesn't contain iron, but it does boost my daily intake of calcium and vitamin E and other stuff, too.
