Going from 5g of fat a day, trying not to 'shock' the body and end up with gallbladder thing.

1 coffee- CO, butter, cream = 20g fat

This is easy! Addition is a lot more fun than subtraction.

GM everyone. I have a busy weekend. Yesterday I was up more by 3 oz but this morning down 5 oz. I'm definitely not getting all my water in OR meals. Weekends can be hard for me when so much planned. But I'm home now and having my bpc. Nawchem I make mine with 2tbs unsalted butter, tbs heavy cream and 1 packet of stevia, then blend 😀 today I have a fundraiser to help at from 11-1 then home by 2, eat and a woman coming with her kids to see my daycare, then 3:00 to my sisters for her daughter's birthday dinner. I won't be eating there just going to be with family. Then I should be home by 6. Ugh I'm tired already thinking about it LOL.
You all have a wonderful day.

Out last night for dinner, had a chicken Caesar salad, the chicken had a coating of some type on it, it was supposed to be "grilled chicken", but it felt like it was a "real" coating not a grilling spices coating. Drank my water but I have decided that certain places just don't have the food I like to eat anymore. Is that picky or is that smart. I am thinking smart. This way of eating does require some changes, and that may include going to different places to eat. Change can be a good thing too.

Journal, maybe someday.

Thanks so much for your help all of you, I can't believe how great I feel. My digestion system is in rebellion, but it will just have to figure out that fat is the new me!

Scotia I think its smart too. Plus going to new places makes it more of an adventure.

smullen thanks for tips, I looked in your journal to see what a normal amount of fat in the diet is. I'm working up to it.

Good day to everyone.

Ladibug you're doing good and you're so very close to goal.

I have 5 dr appointsments next week. I had awful stress cravings all day but I made a giant salad and finally am satiated.

There has been chocolate cake, pizza, cookies laying around all weekend, didn't feel anything.

Yah Ladibug impressive! and Susan you are due for a drop in weight so maybe this time there will not be the "second day" of punishment! I believe in you buddy!
Nawchem, you got this, well done on figuring out the salad would help. Those "things"you mentioned are not "real food". I am hopeful that your appointments go well, and you find the answers you are looking for and are able to form a game plan to address what needs to be addressed.
I did not sleep well last night, just wide awake, up at 6:10 am which is a little early for me. Dropped my son off at the express to downtown bus stop and am finishing my BPC. I was the same weight this morning, but I am so very happy to be in the 160's and staying there, so it is all very, very good.
Onward and downward buddies!!!!

I haven't weighed yet because I haven't gone to bed yet. You all get up early!

Its kind of strange to me, my roomies are all very thin and can eat anything they want, but they just eat 1 piece of cake, 1 pizza slice. It's completely foreign to me.

Nawchem, it probably has to do with insulin resistance. When you have the problem with insulin resistance, the insulin is released when you eat something carby but the sugar never gets into the cell properly, so you are always hungry and tired, I had terrible acid reflux and inflammation and would feel "drugged" after I ate, as in fall asleep exhausted. If you are not insulin resistant, you can eat those foods, feel full and carry on. That is why keto works so well for me, I am "off the insulin roller-coaster" thus I eat, feel full and carry on. I just can't eat carby foods and be happy and healthy. When I eat the other way I am constantly "thinking about the next meal", starving and then binging, and worse yet feel I have no "will power" and that is not good for the soul. So, yes, I too can not eat like those that are naturally thin.
We must be in different time zone, I am in East Coast Canada, you?

You are so right, ScotiaGirl. Too many carbs get me every time. I can live with fairly high carbs.....50-60gr........not fast results but sustainable for me but get me at 100 and my body reacts! Like now, Bouncy scale! But today is a new day. Downward we go!
