I'm working my way back.

Hey, all! I haven't been around, just drop by the forums every now and then to see what's up. Nice to see so many familiar names still maintaining. Weight loss is one thing, keeping it off long-term is an entirely different beast!

I instruct patients in LC eating for weight loss, diabetes mgmt, etc., and when people tell me this way of eating cannot be maintained long-term, y'all are evidence that it can be done.

As for me, I started at 240 about 11 years ago. My happiest weight has been 150 but I have hovered at 152-155 the past 4+ years with the exception of several months where I tried to eat "normally" and gained 14 lbs in record time so I had to get rid of that.

I saw the 120's again for a minute last month. My hip pain is keeping me on my arse too much, so haven't made it back to 125 or under in months.
The added weight this week is leftover post-op bloat from Thursday's surgery. It'll be gone by next week.
I've come to the conclusion (after 3 surgeries in 15 weeks) that whatever is in those IV bags will add 7 pounds in a matter of hours with no eating or drinking
