Smile here's mel!

hello all.

thought i would post a really quick intro. my name is mel, i am 25yo, and live in cobram, australia.

i started atkins about a month ago, i did realy well on induction for two weeks, totally stopped for two days to *pause and reflect* and then had a real hard time getting back into ketosis becasue i thought crumbing on my chicken and batter on my fish would be okay. i tried CAD for a week or so, as we had a few functios to go to and i figured the reward meal would make those a little easier... any idea how impossible it is to get service speedy enough to follow the one hour rule!!!! within two days of breaking the one hour rule i was a mess again, all symptoms flared back up again (worst syptom for me is moods!) so i bit the bullet and am now back on induction, one week in and ketosis is here! yay! i even and a little crumbing and batter yesterday... still ketosis just not as bright on the stick.

so with atkins i found out that i am really quite a sane and rational human being, and this other being has been residing in my body all this time. i really like being sane and *normal* and intend to stay this way... hence searching out a little support.

looking forward to gleaming as much info as i can..... my eyes are burning just thinking about how much reading i have ahead of me!

tia

Hi mel and welcome to lowcarb.ca!

One of the best things about low carb is returning to sanity. There are insane moments along the way but it's all part of the learning process.

Keep reading and posting!

Karen
