Smile New one from Tulsa

Hello, my name is Dana. My cousin talked me into this diet and so far I like it. I can even stay on it over the holiday weekend. I am proud of myself. I have been on it for 6 days and not 1 cheat!!!! I like that. I am going on a cruise in 14 days and wanted to be at my best. That isn't going to happen but I can say that I will be better than I was. I started on Tuesday August 28, 2001 and will weigh tomorrow to see how I have done. I started out at 219 1/4. I would like to be under 200 by the time I leave for my cruise. I want to do good on the cruise but I really want to have a good time. Does anyone know anything about the Carb Eaters. I am thinking of taking something like that while on the cruise. Well I will update everyone tomorrow

Congrats on starting this way of life. Try not to think of it as a diet because basically if you start eating all those carbs again, you WILL gain the weight back. Trust me...I've been there.

I've been able to eat low carb even though my career mandates that I travel a LOT, which means airports, airlines and hotels. I've had to get VERY creative at times, but so far I've managed to lose about 14 lbs in 6 weeks.

Good luck and keep your positive attitude and you will get to your goal weight.

Take care,

Jennifer

Default WOW

7 1/2 lbs!!! That's great. I'm soooo jealous.

It is hard at times, but you can do it if you really put your mind to it.
