Default side dishes in receip sec. if your staying under 20, besides broc.and green beans?

Hi, I've been low carbing since June 16th,and I have been eating salad(romaine),green beans and broccoli for side dishes because I don't like any other green veggies. I was wondering if there are any other LC side dishes that you guys know of. What else may we have if your staying under 20 carbs? I don't know if I may have other veggies like yellow squash,or watermelon. I'm lost. Please any ideas or help would be appreciated. Thank you , I have looked in the receipes, but may we have these sides if we are staying under 20?

Yellow squash should be good... 1/2 a cup of it has 1.4 net carbs. Watermelon isn't a bad choice either, but it's higher in carbs: 1/2 a cup is 5.2 net carbs.

Do you like artichokes? They make good low carb side dishes, as do mushrooms & asparagus.

Sauteed mushrooms swimming in butter with a little chopped bacon...yum! For greens, asparagus and spinach make a good break from green beans. Summer squash is tasty, too.

Cauliflower! Cauliflower Cauliflower!

There's also a great recipe in DANDR for Sesame Snow Peas which works out to about 5g carb, if i recall.

I will definitely second mushrooms sauted in butter! You might want to also vary your salad greens. I switch back and forth between Romaine and Spinach for variety.
