Goal: Stay below 1500 and over 1000 calories.
Stay below 100g. carbs---Try to eat 105 g. protein a day 6 days a week. The 7th day God rested and I will too and eat whatever I darn well please within reason.

Tallies for the day thus far:

1,152 calories
85g. fat--67%
78g.carbs--22 %
29g.pro--10%

Looks like I need more protein which I will eat as my snack later on with a cup of tea before bedtime.

Last night I ended up eating some salami before bed.

Short term Goal: 230 lbs

Default January 11,2006--Alices Birthday--66 yo.

Forgot to put food for the day in:

Breakfast:
3 mugs coffee and cream

Lunch:
Chicken, cheese and dressing salad
sprite

Dinner:
1.5 slices of lasagna
small salad of lettuce, onion with vinegrette
2 small pieces of garlic bread
1 slice of lemon-cheese pie
1 cup of coffee and cream
4 chocolate covered cherries in lieu of ice cream.

Have no idea of the counts but don't think i did too bad.

Walked shopping today for about 2.5 hours. Think that counts as exercise doesn't it??

Carb a bit high--probably because I had ice cream for dessert. Still need to get the protein up some but doing better.

Long time since I posted in here but today went in the pool for about 45 minutes

Swam 20 laps x 30 feet= 600feet. It is a start. I don't want to overdo and makes my self not want to go in the pool again.

Weight is coming down since I last posted here. 238 pounds today so will see if staying on track foodwise and a bit of exercise will help it drop off a bit quicker.

Son and Dil brought me a fitness cycle they were going to get rid of last Saturday when they picked up Andrea but the thing that increases the difficulty needs to get fixed. It is good for keeping the knees and hips mobile though so will use it at nights starting Wednesday till it gets fixed.

Ok--Happy Canada Day to all my Canadian friends and Happy first of July to all my other friends.

BS this morning before breakfast-65

Breakfast:

1 fried egg
1 sausage patty
4 ouces OJ
1 slice low carb toast
1 tsp butter
3 cups coffee with cream

Dinner: [Doc said to limit my carbs today but eat to enjoy the day.]

1/2 cup oyster dressing
2 thick slices of turkey breast
2 T. cranberry sauce
5 olives
A can of sprite
4 small cherries in the sprite.

This evening:

Turkey sandwich
Small piece of pumpkin pie with whipped cream
Large 16 ounce glass of water.

scrambled egg with the following:

1/4 cup onion
1/4 cup green pepper
1 x-large egg
1/2 oz shredded cheese
1 tsp parmesan cheese

Lunch:
BS. 72

Several slices of Turkey
1 ouch of cheddar cheese
1 dill pickle
16 ounces water

Breakfast: 11:00am

1 xl egg,
2 small slices of ham
1 ounce cheese
1 slice LC bread
1 tsp butter
3 oz OJ

2:30 pm-- BS 79

5:00 pm-- BS 72

Dinner:
2 cups of turkey vegetable soup
can of sparkling water
Working on 16 ounces of plain water.

Evening snack??? Not sure
