Smile New to CAD

Hello to all. I finally decided to post here. I was posting on the Atkins board a couple of months ago and couldn't take the diet for more than 2 weeks. I have beed very happy on this WOE and feel very good about it. This board is so encouraging and very informative. I took the test in the CAD book and scored in the severe catagory. The first few days my RM were not balanced but the cravings are gone and the last two nights I have done well. My start weight was 189 and the end weight for the week was an average of 186.7. I started this week at 185 and today I weighed 184 even with the start of TOM. I wish everyone well with this WOE and look forward to be support for others. God Bless!! 1pepper

Wow, you sound like what I did when I started. Of course, this was my first low carb woe, because I did a lot of research to see which one was right. I think that played a large part.

Good luck, I hope your loss continues!!!

Hi Pepper,
glad you're here. It sounds like your doing great. When you said you couldn't stand Atkins for more than a couple of weeks, it resonated in me. The only way I did that plan was by eating tons of lowcarb bars and shakes and making my own "splenda sweets". But somehow even that didn't satisfy me.

I wanted to wish you well and say welcome.
