Sorry about the name calling, did not mean to be offensice.

Well, you were offensive - very much so and more than once. I tried really hard to reason with you and be kind about it, sheeze!

I just know for a fact that the low-fat diet can literally save lives and I don't think it's right to slam it in the event someone reading those slams may have been advised for their health - like my dad was - to go on a low fat diet. And it did save his life, too. There are many, many postive's about it.

It sounds to me like your gripe is more against doctors, not diets. The fact is documented and irrefutable in favor of low fat dieting - but we're (THANKFULLY!) in a free country and can practice whatever is best for us - why turn it into a war? We've got our hands full in that arena as it is!

Actually, the debate was polite up until this post

Maybe you could answer a question for me, too - why is it some people like yourself enjoy being contentious and argumentative?
As was stated by the webmaster, we encourage debate, and opposite points of view, but name-calling and flames are not acceptable, and are a violation of this forum's registration agreement.

This thread is closed and the debate over.
