I am curious, told by WHOM?

I think it is a little lower for the majority. (Check the maintenance threads.)

Nevertheless if you DO lose on 100 - good for you:-)))

Never heard of such a thing myself. If I did that, I wouldn't be able to quit.

I went over my 5 ounces of protein last night.

My plan was to come home from work and relax as we normally go out with the kids on Friday night. Last night, there was a last minute change of plans when family from out of town came to Houston. Everyone decided to go eat at Friday's but not until 8:00. I had a pizza in the over for the kids and wife and I was ready for an omelet. I scraped the topping off a two pieces of pizza and at the resturaunt I ate buffalo wings and three diet cokes.

Although I had enough protein for the next day's worth of meals I didn't cave in for any carbs other than the hot sauce and some in the cheese; in addition, I am still in ketosis.

I am very pleased with myself and believe I will have no problem going the distance this year.

Lendek- that's awesome. I wish I could maintain on 100g of carbs. Somedays I question whether or not I can maintain on the 20g/day. Do you do alot of exercise???

OK, supposed it's better to stop at 100 g, if you can do that. I never could stop effectively. Now that I've added the CAD principles to my WOE, I use the timing factors to reduce the opportunity to eat over emotions too.

Seems like it might be better all around to face the PO directly, instead of just eating less over it.

I have to agree with cs carver on this one. My personal opinion is that it would be much better (and far more liberating) to deal with the issue of emotional eating than to put a limit on the amount that you allow yourself to eat. Limit or not, it's still emotional eating and not dealing with the real issue which is using food for comfort instead of confronting the issue head on.
From my own personal experience with emotional eating, stuffing those emotions down with food may make you feel better for a short time, but it does nothing to address the real reason you were eating in the first place and those emotions/situations are not going to go away simply because you fed them a doughnut, candy bar or whatever and over the long run, it makes you feel worse because of the guilt of having binged yet again and seeing the scale go up yet again.
