Default In Desperate need of Protein Ideas, not meat!

Hi everyone,

I'm stuck in a rut. I'm not sure it this is the problem, maybe looking at my fitday you can help.

I don't think I'm eating enough protein to be losing right now. I did lose 1 lb in the last couple of days but I'm noticing in my fitday that I'm not eating a lot of protein.

Thing is, I'm sick of meat and I'm not a big egg fan. Chicken grosses me out right now. I need more options for protein. I need to get creative here!!

My watching a show on Parasites really blew the meat thing for me and I just cant eat a lot right now, I'm the one that always finds things in my meat... A vein, a fat chunk and bones and whatnot... Think this is a sign to be a vegetarian? LOL!!

PLEASE HELP ME!!!!

There are many good protein sources...
fish is a good one, you can make a seafood salad, lamb (I know it's meat, but it's a change from ordinary) cheese, dark green beans, veggies, nuts, seeds and peanut butter.

Hope this helps.

My thoughts: protein powder, shakes and drinks with sucralose, cottage cheese & yogurt (depending on what stage of the game you're on), tofu, soy.

Maybe try some meatless meat substitutes made with soy. These can be pretty decent and taste different than meat so they might be more palatable.

If you have a GNC or something similar nearby, check out protein powders to make shakes or drinks that have protein added. I drink a great one after workouts called Isopure that contains 40g protein, 0g fat, and 0g carbs. It's made with sucralose and tastes fruity like a Kool-Aid with clear whey protein. Can barely taste it.

Those are my thoughts. Good luck!
