Default Hi

HI all. Been on a low card diet for 7 weeks. Lost 13.5 the first three weeks. Nothing since. I started an egg fast today. I hope it pulls me out of my stall. I still have 25 lbs to go. Wish me luck!

That weight that drops off fast is water weight. It provides the incentive to continue your plan. Fasting has its place, all the version there of.

Hang in there!!!

Welcome Tim

You are in a very common weight loss pattern. Read this for explanation:

or this video: http://forum.lowcarber.org/showpost...3&postcount=160

Hang in there, you do NOT need to do an egg fast. Stick to your plan and you will start to the experience the average 1-2 pound a week weight loss.

All the best,

Thanks all !
Janet- Thank you for that too, I needed it. It makes sense now.
I have lost 4 lbs over the 3 day egg fast that was suggested to me. Maybe that helped, maybe not, maybe it is just more water or glycogen. Who knows, but it was nice to see the scale move after 6 weeks. I can see a thinner face and smaller belly. THAT is what I will use as my scale for now on !

Great! Sounds like you are getting close to "Onederland". You can update your weight stats on your profile at User CP. But one of the best indications of progress is waist size...that smaller belly means less harmful visceral fat and more health.
