Default First day on CALP

I am looking for some breakfast ideas. I am one of those people (or at least always have been) who must eat breakfast. I had an egg with some back bacon for breakfast but now it is 10:30 and I am hungry. Breakfast is at 6am. I brought some cheese for a snack if I need it but what do the rest of you do?

Default Eat later if possible

Eat later if at all possible. Also have 2 eggs at least and add cheese to them with whatever meat you want. This always carries me until lunch and I have meat and veggies of choice or tuna salad. Also ,you might add the crave reducing veggies to breakfast for bulk. But lots of protein kills my hunger. For ideas you may visit my Journal t-z. Wawtigress

Many thanks. I don't have much choice in the time I eat breakfast. We leave for work before 7 am. But I will add the cheese and try to add some veggies at breakfast. This surely is a whole new way of eating for me. I am going out today to buy one of the low carb cookbooks. I imagine that will help with some ideas.
Thanks again, Joyce

Default Hi CDNCRAFTER

Hi , have you been able to solve the breakfast problem. It may take a little while to adjust your body to this diet and rid you of the hunger pangs. Usually just a few days.Hang in there. Wawtigress

Yes. It is still a bit strange but I am going to use the pancake and muffin recipe from the book.(took me awhile to find the soy flour). Yesterday, I had leftover steak from dinner the night before and it was the first day I wasn't hungry before lunch time. If my scales are right I have lost about 6 lbs from my highest point last week or about 4 over all. So that is a great start. Many thanks for all your help. Joyce
