new to this way of life
Hi All,
My name is Rob and I am a 57 Yo male in overall good health. I lost about 15 lbs about 10 years ago, but have inched back up 5-7 lbs from where I started. I originally dropped weight via a 3 day lemonade detox and cleaning up my diet by limiting breads/ pasta and fast food. I'm looking to lose about 13 lbs from my starting point currently.
I have been kind of 'stuck" in a weight range I'm not really happy about of late and have not had a good program to get to my goals.
I have been consistent with weight lifting and moderate cardio most of my life and a bit vain I'm sure.
I talked to a friend the other day who lost about 25 lbs and he mentioned Adkins low carb, so I did some research and just finished my first week with the 40 grams/ day carb program.
I feel good so far and very happy that I have lost some of my hunger urges and cravings.
