Where did everyone go? Just the three of us? Or maybe some are still trying to find the new thread for October.

Good job Ellen and FloridaDad. This is a long, hard slog but well worth it.

How's the yoga coming, FloridaDad? I told you it wasn't easy. If you do it right and manage to hold your poses, your muscles will be sore! Good for you for trying something new. Yoga asanas are good, non-impact exercises. Just right for folks our age. Namaste.

Hot Hunt.. The Yoga is getting better, not as painful. I feel like I feel like I have more energy afterwards, hope it helps keep up my metabolism. By the way happy belated anniversary wishes. My wife and I celebrate 45 years in December. I don't know How she puts up with me.
Ellen, great start to the month.

FloridaDad: Thanks for the well wishes. As far as your comment on how your wife puts up with you, I have a rule: "Never question your wife's judgment. Look who she married."

Ellen: "I lost twice as much weight in 3 days in October then the whole month of September. Go figure" Me too, Ellen. Losing weight is hard to do, even on Atkins. Weighing daily can be frustrating but it is the only way I can track what my weight is doing. If it goes up or down or stays the same for periods of time, well so be it. I can only control the eating and drinking part. My body will do the rest in it's own sweet time. So we just have to be patient and we will persevere.

Ellen: Good job on your Non-Scale Victory. Half the battle is won if you hold steady and don't gain weight.

FloridaDad: Yeah, it looks like that weekend was real tough /sarcasm/...a new low for you. Boy you are burning up the track lately. Lifting weights, yoga and those "tough weekends" must be working. Good job!
