I havent really had issues with bad doctors. I did however have two that told me i shouldnt try to concieve until i lost weight. Wee I am now going to a reproductive specialist that has me on a low carb diet but will not discourage me from TTC. So I'm a happy camper.

Update on me, CD 45 was on 100mg of clomid. My follicle is at 13 and needs to be at 18. I have followup appt on Wed. If the follicle doesnt grow I will add injectables. I hope it doesnt have to go that far.

Are you on Metformin also?? I had that with clomid and responded more reliably... also took estradial.... brain freeze trying to remember all the drugs... though I ended up needing injectables not only to help grow the follicle, though not as much as other women... but also needed 10,000 units of HCG to help me release once the follicles reached good size... found also that taking a few months break sometimes helped my body's response to clomid... and losing weight also did... good luck everyone trying to Conceive... I am still trying to loose weight. I workout all the time and still am having issues. I am also a student besides a full-time job. I am working hard and not seeing the results, my interim goal is 250 and then finally 155-160.

i am taking metformin. I am also on paxil and allegra d. I think that all of them are going to affect what is happening with weight loss. I have redicated to my owrkout. I am very happy with that!!! Hope to loose a ton of weight by the summer and be able to move better.

I have been ttc for 3 years. Diagnosed with PCOS in Oct 03. tried various clomid and injectibles. Started LC diet in Sept have regular cycles ever since yipppppeeeeeeee!!!!! Lost 40 pounds so far and feel awesome with having the cycle

I would like to join in here if i may...I just started ttc, and since 11/03 i have not had af. dr gave me provera, but i havent started it yet. im kinda debating on taking it.

I have taken provera most of the year. I usually never have a natural cycle. I sometimes hated taking it too thinking that maybe my body would behave at the last minute but after a while I realized that I needed it to be more regular. just make sure your DR or RE has done a pg test before. I would imagine most do. Mine would not prescribe it without the BETA

ANewMe2B, even though your dr is rx provera, you may not be ovulating. That is my case. I was dx w/PCOS in Sept 04 and was put on metformin, but in order 4me to O I am on clomid b/c my follies were not getting mature on my own.
