Default Interesting study about CFS

They've identified a test CFS people seem to fail.

Nancy that is a great article. I really didn't understand it all, but I think I get the gist of it, especially since it is what I have experienced. In July 2007, I was basically bedridden until August. I got to the point where I could walk 4 blocks and back to my house. It was really hot, so I didn't try to walk farther. It took me a week to recover from that excursion. The next time I walked a little farther, it took a week to recover from that as well. By mid Sept. I was taking two walks a week. By October 3 walks a week. It took me a day to recover from my walks, I went on that way for months taking a walk taking a day to recover. It took me three days to recover from the disability test even though I passed it with flying colors. I can do some activity almost everyday now, but it still takes me a day or two to recover from moderately strenous activities. I am still going for a full cure. I still don't care that it is "impossible."

This is what we have been telling people for years, that the simplest exercise wears us out for days. We simply cannot recover quickly. I remember one day I worked in my yard for 3 hours, and the next day I wanted to finish. I couldn't manage more than an hour, and the next day I could not go out at all. The more you do, the more time it takes to recover.
