Default Grape juice for fibro pain

Has anyone heard of trying grape juice in place of red wine to help with fibro pain? I've also been told to try grape juice with olive oil. It does seem to relax me and take away some of the pain. I'm wondering if anyone has tried this long term?

And to add...I'm a new member here and I was recently diagnosed with fibro this past April, although I believe I've had it longer than that. I'm on 1900 mg of Gabapentin/Neurotrin throughout the day. I also take Tramadol 50 mg up to 3 a day. I also have arthritis all over and bursitis in my hip. I can only stand/walk for a few minutes before I have to collapse to a soft chair.

I can't drink too much grape juice OR wine without feeling sick. I don't tolerate the alcohol or the sugar very well.

For me, I find the grape juice helps when I feel nauseated or just for general stomach troubles too. I agree with you, Ruth, on the alcohol part. Makes me sick too.
