Default Book Question

In reading the forum, it sounds like I need to buy
a CALP and/or CAD book. What are the names
of these books? I think I should get both. I just
want to make sure I order the right books so I
guess I need name of book and author. Thank
you so much.

I currently weigh 213. I've started about 7 new
diets just this year alone and can't stick to any of
them. I'm addicted to sugar and I know it. Maybe
this will be the diet that will work for me.

The books are The Carb Addicts Diet and The Carb Addicts Lifespan Program. I would reccomend the latter one, CALP. Click here for their website.

No diet will work for you until you make the commitment to yourself that your health and your body are worth loving and caring for. This is not for weight loss- this is really a way of life (WOL). Read the forums- if you treat this as just a diet when you go back to your 'normal' eating you will probably regain all your weight- then some. Please read CALP, and for more of the science read Protein Pwer (most librarys have both).
ANother book I can recommend is the Beck Diet Solution- in book, workbook or CD form. It is not a particualr plan, but a way to change your thinking so you can actually change your behavior. Another book that may help is Dr. Phil's 7 Keys book.
Please come by and post- let us help.
