I must confess i have fallen off the wagon for some time know, and was hoping that others who share my frustration will join me in a recommitment to low carb for a minimum of two weeks, then after that take it to the next level or stay put....
or even those who want accountability partners that would be awsome the more the merrier any help and in put from one another.
also anyone who has been on it for a decent amount of time help me prove or disprove the theory that you lose muscle and water..
ive heard conflicting info on this subject but if it came from someone who actually has long term experience that is all the truth many need. thanks

I'll bite! I decided in December '07 that I would try maintenance and see if I was able to maintain. I have actually gained 10 pounds in the past 5.5 months. SOOOOOO, yesterday I went back on Atkins Induction. I feel better already after eating on plan for just 2 days. Count me in for the 2 week trial period. I really want to get down 20 lbs.

do you ever get tired of meat?
i think thats where i faulter, sometimes it feels that im just eating grease because otherwise plain tuna chicken breast, is to dry without mayo or some sor of sauce. my favorites are chicken thighs bacon sasage and they dont need anything (sauce)because they are greasesd with flavor, or if anything just a sprinkle of seasoning works.
hope not to gross you out but if youve guys ideas that would be helpfull.

I am SO tired of meat. That's how I came up with my screen name, Ugh!

I've been LCing for some years simply to keep my blood sugars under control and I recently had to revamp my entire menu. I've been in the process of taking all my favorite foods and making LC versions of them. I also found that the classic French haute cuisine dishes are, by and large, already low carb.

Have you seen Blane's Low Carb kitchen on FIT TV? It was once on Discovery Health and all of his recipes are on line.
