Vacation Planning
Ok, my hubbie and I just booked a vacation for this July at an all-inclusive beach resort. Usually, I would take those days "off plan" and enjoy a vacation from strict eating during a vacation, and also allow myself a few alcoholic beverages.
This was when I used low carb as a weight loss and fitness diet. Now that I'm also concerned about blood sugar and progression of diabetes, I'm not sure what to do.
On the one hand, I want to enjoy my vacation and let loose, on the other, I want to stay healthy.
What do other people do? It's a 6 day vacation. I don't take insulin, just metformin and some herbal remedies.
