Default Had my AHA moment yesterday looking at photos of myself

Hello everyone

I have been a lurker on here for ages and have stopped and started CAD many times.

I'm about 140 pounds at the moment and just under 5'4 so not 'over weight' in fact I fit into a US size 4-6 but I have always felt more comfortable around
128-130 pounds but have been telling myself I guess - oh I'm not too bad its ok

Saw some photos of myself yesterday from over Christmas and while I can look at them and know i'm not fat I'm also not the shape I want to be

I've had other battles to deal with lately regarding my alcoholism (which is something I've shared before) so the weight loss thing has taken a back seat

Dealing with that and now I want to give my body the best possible fuel (while still enjoying my food) and get to where I know I want to be and look and feel best

So yes - my aha moment -

Yip...my AHA moment came when my wedding photos were delivered. OMG I thought, but it still took me a few months to get my sorry butt back to the CAD way of eating, (and now of course I wish I could relive the day and have new photos taken, or maybe when Ive lost these last nasty resistant 10kgs)
The camera doesn't lie!!!!

Hi Bluebell,

I just wanted to say hi.

I too have stopped and started CAD way too many times. I am still here and holding my head high though. You can get where you want to go. We are here to support you on the way there!

GL to you!
