My skin is going south, not my loss. (That mean sagging.) So I will have to deal with the droopies also, like you're doing with the skin issue.

Also, I always heard high protein, no veggies was not a health choice for your kidneys. Add the low carb veggies. Gives you variety also.

ah - where is it your from? will you be getting the operations too?

As i said - i started back tonight. started light . just some red cabbage with low carb mayo - was really nice to have it. tasted amazing. would be good to rid these last 10 lbs even though i dont have to . means when i do get the op i can bulk up back to my weight with muscle . so will be good to have a bit of definition

I'm from Kentucky, in the USA.

As for the surgery, don't know yet. Not if it's not really necessary.

** EDIT ** the only thing i can think of about weight bounce is that its a daily flux. you know our bodies can +- 5 lbs a day - because i have not changed eating habbit - but as of tonight started veg. had some red cabbage with dinner. it was amazing . forgot what veg tasted like

thank s again

Good that you had some cabbage for dinner! I sautee mine with onions and garlic, crushed red pepper too. Yum!

Lots of excellent reading there on the Primal/paleo way of eating and living. I think that you'd get a lot out of that.

Yes, you are at goal and the only way to make any further differences in your body is to get rid of the excess skin and tone up with exercise.
The other thing is to not regain!! Join us in our maintenance weighin for that!

Do you mean is maintenance different from the other stages?
I guess it depends on who you talk to!

For me, it is about staying out of denial and keep getting on the scale. My old behavior was to stop caring and the eventual regain happened. I am not allowing it to happen this time.
I had to literally change the way I eat permanently and never go back to the old way. Been there and done that!
I had to get that its not about being on a diet when we eat this way....its the way I will eat for the rest of my life. WOE/WOL kind of thing.

It becomes about you....what are you willing to do to make sure that you don't regain? How will you eat? What will you eat? How committed are you to keep it?

As soon as i started the "diet" ( lifestyle change ) that was the old way of eating out the window for life - for 3 years i have changed my life style and attitude. I have always lost and kept it off. I can not even eat a slice of bread because my brain wont allow me to . i dont even want to . even on a birthday when i have a bit of cake or at new year when i have a slice of short bread ifeel as if i should not and i just dont feel right. I will not go back to the old way - its not me its not the way i eat live or think anymore - i love myself i love the attention and i love being healthy and fit
