Question I am going crazy! Women, please help.

O.K. I have been on the pill forever AND I have done the Atkins WOE before...BUT, my TOM is so screwed up this time around on this WOE that I can't even keep up with it!

My TOM came 10 days early, lasted for 12 days and started again today 7 days later! This has never happened before.

I am not working out a lot. I am still on the pill. What in the world is going on?

Thank you very much in advance for your help.

Julie

Default Hello, GatorGal93

I wish I had something wonderfully insightful to say in a medical sense regarding your dilemma, but I'm no doctor or nurse, nor am I a longterm lowcarb WOE adherent. However, I can feel your distress and I'm concerned for you.

At the risk of being the conservative person on the block, I would suggest talking to a doctor about this condition. Perhaps you already have.

I should mention that as a post-menopausal person, that I experienced very irregular swings myself in my late 40s, which proved to be pretty much normal for me under the circumstances. I was heading into menopause. You don't mention your age, so perhaps this is not something that would pertain to you.

Take care and I hope you are able to attract the help and information you need soon.

Check out this thread and you'll see there are others having the same problem....and it is NO fun! I would just bear with it for a couple of months and then if it doesn't get better, consult your doctor. Of course, it wouldn't hurt just to give them a call to see if he wants you to come in. These things happen from time to time....especially as we get older
